What’s happening at Woodward Chrisp
The Woodward Chrisp social club held its end of year celebration at the Gisborne Park Golf Club. A great time was had by all. Many of us were brand new to golf and were very relieved to be playing Ambrose style golf. We are very grateful to the helpers at the golf club who managed to provide enough balls and clubs for us all to use plus a couple of carts. On presentation of our My Vaccine Passes on entry we were then able to enjoy their club rooms (socially distancing of course) for food and beverages afterwards. Our annual ‘Secret Santa’ game was also played with everybody taking turns at either opening a new present or stealing someone else’s – excellent tactics were on display planning ahead for the desired present. We have many environmentally conscious staff at Woodward Chrisp with the Compost Bin being the present stolen most often.
