Background
Harakeke was born and raised in Christchurch and completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Indigenous Studies) at the University of Otago. She is set to be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Wellington High Court in March 2026.
Harakeke is excited to be living in Gisborne and gaining experience with the criminal, litigation, and employment teams at Woodward Chrisp.
Interests
Outside of work, Harakeke is actively involved in surf lifesaving and recently completed her second IRB (Inflatable Rescue Boat) training in Gisborne—despite breaking a finger in the process! She also enjoys socialising and playing board games.
