Background
Harakeke was born and raised in Christchurch and completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Indigenous Studies) at the University of Otago. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Wellington High Court in March 2026.
Harakeke is excited to be living in Gisborne and gaining experience in criminal and civil litigation, relationship property, and employment law at Woodward Chrisp.
Interests
Outside of work, Harakeke is actively involved in surf lifesaving, particularly IRB (Inflatable Rescue Boat) racing.
