Background
Ellie joined Woodward Chrisp in 2011. In July 2018 she became a partner of the firm and in 2024, a director. She has been practicing as a lawyer in New Zealand and the UK since her admission in 1997. Ellie graduated from Victoria University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Law degree with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts. She specialises in property law, business and commercial law, trusts and wills and has previously specialised in public law litigation and resource management and environmental law.
Interests
Ellie enjoys outdoor adventures such as tramping and kayaking, walking and swimming at Gisborne beaches, reading, food, music and spending time with family and friends. She has run several half marathons and 2 full marathons and is thinking about taking on a third... She has recently started to learn to surf and remains strictly a beginner surfer.
